Made for the Day You Actually Have

From the morning rush to the ride home, one simple snack can make the day a little easier.

Morning

One less thing to do

No washing, cutting or searching for the container with the missing lid. Add a pouch and keep the morning moving.

Lunchbox

Ready when they are

If recess is too busy, the fruit is still crisp when hunger finally catches up with them.

The ride home

A little easier on the way home

Pass a pouch to the back seat. No sticky juice, bruised fruit or stains left in the car seat.

Before dinner

A little something to get everyone there

A simple snack helps bridge the gap between the end of the day and dinner—for hungry children and parents alike.

Origo helps everyone make it to the table. You make the time around it matter.

The Moment Everyday Food Choices Start to Matter More

Sometimes it begins with the first kick. Sometimes it is the first lunchbox you pack, or the first time you realize someone else now depends on the choices you make.

You begin reading labels more carefully. You look for ingredients you recognize—not because you expect perfection, but because you want to feel confident about what you give your child.

We know that feeling because it changed the way we chose food for our own family. We kept turning packages over and finding long ingredient lists on foods that were supposed to be made from fruit. Eventually, we stopped putting them in the cart and started making our own.

At farmers markets, we watched children turn down fresh strawberries, then happily reach for the same fruit when it was made light and crisp. The fruit had not changed. Only the form had.

Choosing food for your family should not have to feel so complicated.

You know your family best. Origo helps you choose with confidence.

These are an amazing snack to have for toddlers! My son has a lot of allergies and we couldn’t find any pre-packaged snacks he could have for on the go and travel. Was so happy to find these and love that the fruit is locally sourced. We also put these in our emergency kits. The service has been amazing too, very fast local delivery. Highly recommend this company and product!

100% real fruit. No added sugar, no artificial colours, no preservatives — made in BC, Canada. I add it to protein yogurt bowls, overnight oats and salads, and take it hiking and on road trips.

In comparison to other brands, Origo’s freeze-dried fruit maintains its vibrant colour. The texture, flavour and moisture is by far the best I’ve ever worked with.

Know Where It Came From—and Who Checked It

Most of our fruit is grown in British Columbia, with haskap from Quebec. We keep the ingredient list simple, name the growers we work with and use independent laboratories to check the things families cannot see.

  • Strawberries South Alder Farms, Abbotsford, BC
  • Raspberries Kahlon and Berry’s Hill, BC
  • Blueberries Berry’s Hill and Kahlon, BC
  • Apples Okanagan Valley, BC
  • Haskap Quebec

What independent laboratories check

  • Pesticide residues and heavy metals assessed against Canadian limits
  • Microbiology, moisture and shelf-life testing
  • Nutrition and live-culture testing where applicable

Independent laboratories—Intertek Testing Services Canada, Element Materials Technology and IG MicroMed Environmental—carry out this testing for us.

Testing measures compliance with applicable limits; it does not establish that a product is pesticide-free. Live-culture results apply only to the flavour, batch and testing date reported.

Full laboratory reports are not published online. Retailers, bakeries and food businesses can request them through our Trade page.

Why Freeze-Dried Fruit Costs More

Freeze-drying removes the water while helping the fruit keep its shape, colour and natural flavour. It is a slow process that requires freezing and vacuum power for the entire run.

You are paying for Canadian-grown fruit, a more demanding process and a pouch that contains fruit without added sugar, oil or filler.

  • Frozen first, not dried with hot air
  • Light and crisp instead of dense and chewy
  • Higher equipment and energy cost

Questions Parents Ask Before the First Pouch

Is it really just fruit?

Every pouch in the fruit line contains only the fruit named on the front. Froyo is a separate yogurt product with its full ingredients and milk allergen clearly listed.

Why does the fruit label show sugar?

Fruit naturally contains sugar. Origo adds no sugar to the freeze-dried fruit line.

Does it need refrigeration?

No. Keep unopened pouches in a cool, dry place. Reseal tightly after opening for the best crisp texture.

Why does freeze-dried fruit sometimes go soft?

It naturally absorbs moisture from the air. Squeeze out excess air, reseal the pouch and keep it dry.
