The two lines, described accurately

  • Grown in Canada; berries from named British Columbia farms, apples from the Okanagan

Freeze-dried yogurt — Froyo

A cultured yogurt base blended with real freeze-dried fruit powder, then freeze-dried. Strawberry, blueberry and raspberry.

  • Made with organic and grass-fed ingredients

How we test, and who tests it

We use independent, accredited third-party laboratories. We do not self-certify our results.

What we do and don’t say about these results. Our fruit has been tested for pesticide residues and heavy metals and found compliant with Canadian Maximum Residue Limits. We do not describe our fruit as “pesticide-free” — residue testing measures against legal limits, it does not establish absence. Live-culture counts are reported only for the flavour and batch actually tested, at the time of testing, and are not end-of-shelf-life counts. Shelf life is stated per product according to the study supporting it.

Traceability

Our berries come from named British Columbia farms and our apples from the Okanagan Valley. We hold supplier records for the fruit we buy, and we can trace finished product back to the raw material for qualified partners under a confidentiality agreement.

This is the part of our business we are least willing to compromise on, and the part we are most willing to show you.

Documentation: what we share, and when

We share documentation in stages. This is not to make life difficult — it is because some of these files carry laboratory reproduction restrictions, and some contain information our suppliers have entrusted to us. We treat their confidentiality the way we would want ours treated.

LevelWhat it includesWhat we need from you
1. OpenThis page: laboratories, testing scope, standards, origin, allergen and claim informationNothing — it is public
2. Product filesOrigo product specification sheets: composition, nutrition, format, shelf life, originCompany name, contact and role, market and channel
3. Full evidenceComplete third-party Certificates of Analysis, shelf-life studies, supporting laboratory reportsThe above, plus a short mutual confidentiality agreement

Laboratory reports remain the property of the issuing laboratory and several carry restrictions on reproduction. We release them intact and in confidence rather than posting them publicly.

Email us and tell us four things. Most of our partners find this takes two minutes, and it lets us send you the right documents rather than a generic bundle.

  1. Your company, website and your role
  2. The market and channel you are working in
  3. Which products and formats interest you
  4. What this documentation needs to support — a regulatory submission, a retailer listing, an internal review

We reply to serious enquiries quickly, and we are happy to walk through the full pack on a call. We do not publish pricing; written quotations follow a conversation about volumes, format and terms.

How we label, and the rules we follow

  • “No added sugar” (fruit line only) — criteria set out in the Food and Drug Regulations, B.01.509(1) and B.01.509(2), FDR; applied to advertising under section 273, SFCR. CFIA guidance
  • “Product of Canada” (fruit line) — CFIA origin-claim guidelines promoting compliance with subsection 5(1), Food and Drugs Act and subsection 6(1), Safe Food for Canadians Act; all or virtually all (98%+) ingredients, processing and labour Canadian. CFIA guidance
  • Organic wording (yogurt line) — governed by Part 13, Division 4, SFCR. We describe organic and grass-fed ingredients; we do not present Froyo as a certified organic product, since under SFCR 353(2)(a) and 359(1)(b) only products with 95%+ organic content certified under the Canada Organic Regime may be labelled or advertised as organic. CFIA guidance
  • Allergens — milk is a priority allergen and is declared for our yogurt line. Priority allergens must be declared in the ingredient list or in a “Contains” statement. CFIA guidance
  • Live cultures — we state measured counts from third-party testing and make no health claim. CFIA guidance
