What Changes in the Finished Product

The Fruit Should Still Be There When Your Work Is Finished.

Aroma

A recognizable fruit aroma that reaches the customer before the first taste.

True Fruit Flavour

Flavour that comes from the fruit itself, rather than an extract trying to imitate it.

Vibrant Colour

Pieces and powder that bring natural colour and make the finished product visually distinct.

Low Moisture

A format that introduces very little water—useful in chocolate, dry mixes, batters and finishing.

Applications

Start With What the Ingredient Needs to Do.

Tell us the result you want. We will help identify the fruit, cut and particle size that best supports it.

Blueberry danish pastries made with Origo freeze-dried blueberry

Bakery & Pastry

Fold pieces into doughs and batters, mill fruit into powder for colour and flavour, or finish pastries with a crisp, visible fruit element.

Chocolate bonbon and ganache made with Origo freeze-dried raspberry

Chocolate & Confectionery

Bring berry acidity and aroma to ganache, bars and coatings while keeping added moisture low.

Sparkling beverage made with Origo freeze-dried raspberry

Beverage

Build teas, café drinks, sparkling beverages and dry blends with real-fruit aroma, colour and flavour.

Pork chop crusted with Origo freeze-dried raspberry crumbs and salt

Savoury: Raspberry & Salt

Mix raspberry powder or fine crumbs with salt for a bright, fruit-forward crust on pork chops. The same low-moisture format also works in rubs, glazes and sauces.

From Our Kitchen

We Test the Ingredient Before It Reaches Yours

We milled our own freeze-dried blueberry and raspberry into fine powder, worked both into the same bread dough, and photographed every stage—from the first mix to the finished marbled loaf.

The trial showed how the powders carried natural colour and fruit flavour through the bake without adding the moisture of fresh fruit. It was our test, not a promise about every formula. Your own bench trial remains the important one.

From a Professional Kitchen

Your Recipe Is the Proof.

Professional kitchens do not need another promise. They need an ingredient that behaves predictably in the recipe and earns its place in the finished product.

That is why the next step is a bench trial—not a sales presentation.

Test It in Your Product

“Origo’s freeze-dried fruit maintains its vibrant colour. The texture, flavour and moisture is by far the best I’ve ever worked with.”
